Monique A. Musick

An Alaskan Photographer

Born and raised in Ester, Alaska Monique Musick is right at home in the outdoors. Her love of photography began young and has been one of the defining passions of her life. Her formal education in photography occured on the cusp of traditional and digital technologies. Equally at home in the darkroom and on the computer her interdisiplinary skills and creative insight allow for incredible flexibility and a wide range of services. She is available for portrait services, wedding photography, commercial photography, and construction photography. She is also skilled at graphic design, publication layout and other design services. An enthusiastic Fairbanks photographer, Monique's reputation for quality work and friendly nature grows with every passing day.

 

PhotoSynthesis

Home base for PhtoSynthesis is the studio gallery located on Main Street Ester. A full service portrait studio, graphic design office, and custom printing center, its cozy charm welcomes visitors and clients. Every month a new body of photographic work is featured on the gallery walls and First Friday receptions are hosted monthly. PhotoSynthesis is open year round to meet all local digital photographic needs and to provide quality custom photo services to the community. Every month PhotoSynthesis holds workshops covering how to choose a digital camera or how to set and operate the camera you own. A third part of this series covers transferring the images onto the computer and performing basic image editing in Photoshop or similar programs.
